“Close to train station. Great breakfast!”
We stayed two nights at the Hotel Asyl in Nara, Japan. Our room was quite large and roomy. The beds were low to the ground but were comfortable. “Not amazing, but could be worse”
Right, to the brass tacks. Stayed one night, had a Japanese style room, parking was good and wasy, the TV was tiny, the room was probably the largest hotel room i've ever had in Japan, the bathroom was clean but nothing great. “Hotel very popular with group tours”
I only stayed one night here for a business trip. There is a large gift shop in the lobby. Wifi connection was terrible in my room. I had to sit in the corridor to get wifi. We stayed in a double room and it was spacious. The hotel was old but well maintained. Breakfast had a lot of variety.

“too stingy in lights & old furnishings”
No sufficient lights in corridors and rooms make it gloomy and quite scarry. Those old furnishings and its colors made me unsure about its cleanliness. Rooms are spacious. We can not adjust the air conditioner to make it cooler. But they have good breakfast...
