“Beautiful ryokan with excellent food in the middle of the forest.”
Loved the ryokan experience here. It’s in a beautiful, secluded area of Nara. We arrived by taxi after travelling from Kyoto and as it was late in the afternoon, headed straight there. We received a very warm welcome and was shown our room. Everything, including booking times for our dinner, bre… more

We had the full Japanese experience with traditional dinner served in our room and breakfast. Lots of fish. We had a bigger than a king thick mattress in the bedroom. Our … more

The presentation of the food was phenomenal & the service was the best we've had in Japan! Our 18-month old grandson fell asleep during the meal, so the server … more
