“Lovely cosy Ryokan ”
We had an amazing stay here, the meals are great and onsen was nice. We also booked the private onsen that is free. I love the meals the most as it has a huge variety and carefully prepared and well thought. Only thing is that our room did not have a shower, so we had to shower at the onsen.

“Smaller quiet inn, nice outdoor bath”
It was raining hard much of the time we were there so we did not explore much. Our room was on the ground floor a short walk from the bathes and was a decent size with small brook and waterfall off the covered porch area. I wish the bathes were open longer hours, at least an hour earlier at 6 rathe… more

“Clean and small ryokan ”
Off the main stretch of businesses and up a steep slope. However it takes a mere 5-10mins to walk to the shops so it’s fairly accessible. Clean and nice room setup. Room has a toilet and a washbasin. “Small friendly ryokan”
We stayed 2 nights with meal plans. Shuttle to & from bus stop can be pre-arranged with hotel. Not possible to walk from bus stop with luggage. Onsen has indoor & outdoor baths. “Nice little ryokan”
Stayed 1 night with dinner and breakfast. Food was intricately prepared, like all japanese food. Have 1 indoor and 1 outdoor onsen (separated by gender) which are good. Room is nice and clean. Please note though there is no shower in the room, those have to be done in the onsen.
