“Superb experience”
Everything about this hotel was great. We had a spacious room with a private outdoor bath and everything was clean and tidy. The hotel grounds were beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. But the best thing was the service and we cannot compliment the staff enough.

“Bliss”
This peaceful oasis was exactly the ryokan experience we were looking for. The area was quiet, our private bath was made of local stone and had a real garden and the kaiseki was better than any we've had so far. “Peaceful, clean, comfortable experience!”
Great experience! The onsens are very peaceful and the whole room is very tidy and comfortable, very suitable for families! The staff are really nice, and the location is close to other onsens nearby the area. Food was prepared with great detail and beauty whilst being tasteful!

“The Best of the Best”
There is the beautiful ryokan. The superb restaurant. The onsen. And the amazing staff. Hanamura is elegant but relaxed, and I cannot say enough about the staff. Consider this an enthusiastic recommendation for an amazing splurge.

“Read this before you get surprised by it!”
Very good service and excellent meals. The room is well-kept and clean but a little dated. The bathroom needs a major renovation. The private bathroom floor and the bathtub are completely stained. The bathroom situation brings the rating down significantly.
