“Comfortable, Quiet, and Close to Beppu Station”
It’s okay for a one-night stay. I can imagine it gets really busy on weekends since it’s a large hotel where many locals stay overnight to use the onsen. They assigned me a room on the 17th floor, the top floor, with a nice view of Beppu. I hope they have at least two pillows :) though. It was als… more

“Dated hotel”
One elevator was broken so the wait time was long. We wanted a non smoking room but they told us that they only had a smoking ones. We took it which was a mistake. It was so smelly.
