“Amazing experience.”
My stay has been wonderful at Ryokan Yamashiroya. The owners picked us up and drove us to the front door, and had dinner waiting as soon as we walked in. Less crowded onsen area. For a quiet getaway that is not too far away from Yufuin (2 stops; 15mins train plus a short shuttle by the ryokan), this is excellent. Great homely food.
