“Wonderful stay!!”
We stayed for 2 nights at Poppoan. We had a room with an indoor private onsen that’s big enough to fit the four of us in ( 2 adults 2 kids) Soaking in the onsen with a beautiful view is just priceless!!! “Good value and enjoyable”
We booked the hot spring hotel comparatively late due to Sakura season and most of them hotel near the shops and lake are either fully booked or only those expensive one are left. We are fortunately be able to book this ryokan through its own website and the price is not high compare to other hotel… more

“A warm and relaxing hotspring ryokan”
It is a small but warm ryokan. Just a five minutes drive from the train station. They provide free pick up service. The view from the room was excellent and the food was delicious especially the Bungo beef. Staff were nice.
