Tsukanoma is located uphill of the Yufuin basin, where is relatively quiet and calm area in Yufuin. “Fest food of the trip”
We stayed two places in Yufuin and of them Shoya no Yakata had the best service and food. The hot spring was nice, clean and the size was right for the hotel. I would have liked a pool we could have gone in as a couple but that seems kind of uncommon in Japan

An excellent ryokan in Yufuin, with beautiful onsen. A private onsen is really great. Service is very nice. The room is clean and well maintain.
