“Great location to the main sites. ”
Stayed 2 nights. Possibly had the best room in the hotel on the 10th floor . Had fantastic views of the castle and river. The room itself was very comfortable. The location is great for the garden and castle and is 1 km from the train station. The buffet breakfast is ials good.

“Comfortable business hotel”
After staying in traditional Japanese hotels, this felt like a shock at first, being very western. But it was excellent. “Very well located, but somewhat dated”
Hotel excel is very well located near the tram which leads to the Okayama JR Station. Staff were cordial, and most helpful. Our room was spacious, and overlooked the nearby river and park. I recently stayed at the hotel excel with my family for 3 nights. The hotel is about 1.2 kms from the main entrance of the Okayama JR station along the main road. “Everything was adequate”
Everything about this hotel was adequate and its location was excellent for the things we wanted to do. Some of the staff had limited English, but were always polite and helpful. The only downside was the breakfast.
