As usual, Japanese are very friendly and helpful. Even though they know you do not understand Japanese, they would still keep on explaining to you in Japanese or in their very limited English. “Family and foreigner friendly”
We enjoyed our stay here. The onsen areas are fantastic and the food is superb. They even cater for vegetarians with "shojin ryori" (see photos) which was just outstanding.
