“Extremely convenient to Shin-Osaka Station”

Very convenient location. Room was small but comfortable and sufficient for our needs. Melissa on the front desk was super helpful and very kind. No breakfast benefit

First time to Japan, first stop Osaka. Stayed at the Four Points Flex by Sheraton which is only 250m from Shin-Osaka train station which gets you everywhere. First time to Japan, first stop Osaka. Stayed at the Four Points Flex by Sheraton which is only 250m from Shin-Osaka train station which gets you everywhere. This means that you can hear the trains from the hotel room but it’s not invasive, more a back ground noise. I think the noise from the occasional Grand Prix wannabe on the highway (car or bike) was louder but as I said that was only occasionally. We got breakfast with our booking which is in the restaurant under the hotel (not part of it). It was a set menu with six options but they were tasty and filled the gap. We also had dinner there one night which was really nice too. The rooms were quite small but we had been told about this before we came so it was not a huge surprise. We travelled with our (adult) kids who had the room next door, theirs was bigger than ours I’m assuming because they had two single beds. The air conditioner in our room wasn’t at its best but you can open the window to let fresh air in - we were here during winter so that cooled the joint down pretty quick. There is a water cooler/heater on each floor for refilling your water bottles if you need. We drink tea not readily accessible in Japan and bought our own tea bags so the hot water was very handy. Convenience stores super close - within 100m of the hotel (Family Mart & 7Eleven) so if you’re hungry or thirsty no matter what time, they’re open. Overall, the hotel was clean, quiet and really close to the train station. I would stay here again.

I booked a single room as a Titanium member. Of course I expected no big benefits as typical of this brand but I was able to get late check out. The room is very typical of a Japanese business hotel. It's a pretty open secret that these Four Points Flex hotels used to be Unizo hotels and even some of the signage like the one in the first floor restaurant has yet to be updated. The bed was comfortable and I was overall satisfied as a solo traveler. The hotel is located right next to Shin-Osaka Station. I was a bit worried about how far north this hotel is however since it is right next to the subway Midosuji Line it's only about 15-20 minutes from more interesting areas like Namba. There were two washer/dryers on the second floor. These are the better ones that wash and dry in one cycle with automatic detergent at 500 yen for the standard load. Since there are only two it was a bit of a competition to get one during my stay. There is also a convenience store right on the path between the Osaka Metro and the hotel. Overall more convenient than I originally thought. Pretty good stay! Better than I expected. For a good price I would not mind staying again.

This hotel is very close to the Shin Osaka train station although instructions to find it and using Google Maps was difficult. The room was small but very clean - bed was comfortable. Service was good - avoid the breakfast in the restaurant next door as it is not that good for non-Japanese customers. The train station offered a fantastic selection of food choices and there is a Family Mart and 7/11 close by which both offer excellent food and drink choices. Service at the hotel was very good and they speak English which helps. I arrived hot and sweaty (as it was a heat wave) at 14:45 and was told to wait until 15:00 when check in starts - they are fairly strict with their time schedules. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again only if I was on a strict budget. You pay for what you get. The only thing I hated was the steep step up into the bathroom - I don't understand why a hotel would have a step up - it can be dangerous and as Im 69 it didnt help with my old knees

Therefore, it's mainly used by many business people, especially on weekdays. The hotel has only one entrance on the first floor, and the check-in counter is located on the second floor. The elevators that go up and down to the guestrooms do not stop at the desired floor unless the card key given at check-in is held over the sensor in the elevator, making it impossible for anyone other than hotel guests to enter the elevator. The first floor of the hotel is a restaurant, which is open only to hotel guests during breakfast hours (at other times, it is open to anyone). The facilities, including the guest rooms, are clean and organized, but there are some drawbacks. Due to the large number of business people using the hotel, two elevators are not enough. In some cases, there is a long wait on the first floor, the second floor where the front desk is located, and each guest room floor. The elevators are small, and even though there are several buttons to go up and down to the desired floor, there is only one sensor to hold the card over the elevator. The sensor is sometimes blocked by other passengers or their bags, and the desired floor is often passed by without being able to press the button. Moreover, the sensor sometimes does not read the card information properly. In addition, especially at night, the area around the hotel is often crowded with people with bad manners (smoking while walking, drinking and partying on the street without permission, etc.). Women are of course welcome in the hotel, but it is not recommended. At the same time, it is not recommended to use the hotel with small children.
