SO GREAT!! The room was quite large with a separate seating area. The laundry machine was the best we've ever used for a single washer/dryer. The clothes came out completely dry. The concierge team were SUPER friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet everyday was GREAT. Usually at these places you get bored but we couldn't wait every day to see the different things they would make. We loved Fraser Residence Nankai and will definitely look for other Fraser's in the future.

This is our 2nd time staying at the Fraser Residence Nankai and we just love everything about it. The staff and administration are wonderful and are extremely helpful, accomodating, and kind. The general manager and all his staff value guests loyalty and repeat guests which we appreciate it very much. A huge shout out goes out to general manager, Mr. L; Ms. Misako; Mr. Wang; Ms. Suiren; May; and all the other fantastic front desk agents. The location is wonderful as it is across from the Namba station connecting to subway lines and private rail lines. Across the hotel is McDonalds and many restaurants abound. Another reason we love the location is because it is a one minute walk to the Edion arena for the Grand Sumo Tournament in March. Breakfasts selection is varied and it is all very tasty. It is both Western and Japanese items with plenty of different side dishes, juices, ice creams, pastries, and fresh fruits. Again, the staff at the restaurant is very kind and they remember their guests from previous stays. How amazing is that! We stayed in a one bedroom with 2 beds this year instead of the 2 bedrooms because of the price point. The room is very spacious even for the 3 of us (adults). There is even a walk in closet with lots of space for luggage and the washer/dryer in the room is so convenient. No need to go downstairs for communal washer/dryer. Because we are 3 adults, the sofa couch in the living room was made into a bed and the mattress was extremely comfortable. Our 2 twinb beds were also very comfortable airing on the firmer side which we love. We never woke up with a sore back. In the room is a little kitchen with 2 induction stove tops, electric kettle, cutlery, cutting board, detergent, one medium sized pot, and a large skillet. There is even a tap especially for FILTERED WATER so no need to buy water at all. Unfortunately there aren't any toasters that you can borrow. In the future, I hope they will consider having a few items for guests to borrow like toasters; toaster oven; drip coffee machines like the Mimaru hotel chain which has many kitchen items one can borrow. There is only one pillow on each bed but if you need more pillows or blankets, like we did, the hotel quickly brought up extra pillows and blankets for us. Another highlight for us at the Fraser is the "rebate" program for missing daily cleaning. This is an option for guests who do not want their bed sheets changed or kitchen cleaned or vacuumed in return for 500 yen on a gift card a day that can be used at Lawsons or 7/11 convenience stores. But, after every 3 days, the full cleaning is mandatory. So for us, on those days without formal cleaning, we just left our garbage and soiled towels in the halls and the staff picks it up. We then went to the front desk and ask for more detergent pods, towels, and garbage bags. We loved it because we need not vacate the room when housekeeping comes. We stayed 10 nights and we were given 3500 yen of gift cards with 2 full cleaning dates. I wished more hotels in Japan do this. There is even a dry sauna and steam room that you can book at 8am the same day that you want to use for one hour. Unfortunately, we didn't get around to experience it as we were always out until late. We will continue to return to the Fraser Residence Nankai because everything about it is absolutely PERFECT for us. We are looking forward to our 2027 stay in the Fall at the Fraser Nankai! “Good value”

A good place to stay close to a commuter friendly area. However, it might not be too suitable for a family with small kids as the area is very touristy and commercial. Facility wise it has everything required and also the staff were friendly and helped with all of our queries and requests.

“A nice hotel in Osaka”

The hotel is conveniently located at Namba area of Osaka. Just a few steps from the airport train to Osaka Kansai. Rooms are good size and comes with washing machine and fridge. The hotel is also walking distance to dontombori. All in all, a convenient base for a visit to Osaka.
