We stayed here as a group of 6 for the first 2 nights of our family holiday to Japan. My daughter had booked it as was within easy walking distance from Shin Osaka station as we were going to be doing a couple of trips from there. When we arrived we couldn’t work out where to go as we didn’t have clear directions so we got a taxi which got us there in under 2 minutes. It’s to the right as you go out of the central exit , then through an underpass and along the side of the road. It’s very easy once you know. We arrived early so couldn’t get into our room. We thought we had checked in but seemed to have to do it all again when we returned later as the lady on the desk didn’t understand that we were paying separately and that 2 of our party weren’t arriving until later. The rooms were a bit of a shock as they were so small we could hardly get our luggage in. One side of the bed was against the wall, and the bathroom was a sort of capsule. We had problems getting the aircon to work and the room was very hot for several hours. Once we got used to it, our stay was ok. Most of the guests were Japanese so weren’t carrying much luggage. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, very Japanese but a reasonable amount of choice. The area around the hotel was quiet and pleasant. There were a couple of convenience stores nearby and plenty good value restaurants in the station. We wanted to forward our luggage to our next destination but the man on reception didn’t seem to understand what we wanted ( despite having the forms ) but fortunately there was a Black Cat office just around the corner which opened at 8 am. Out if all the hotels we stayed at, this was the one with the nicest smoking area . It was a covered area with a nice view of the street. So a good budget hotel, just adjust your expectations on room size.

Front desk crew were friendly. Room was clean but a tiny room and a tiny bathroom. Not that bad considering the price.
