Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights while in Osaka for the sakura season. The hotel is located at the JR Tennoji Station, and can be easily accessed via the circular bridge on Level 2, or via the underpass. The underpass is less troublesome (compared to the pedestrian bridge on Level 2), especially if you have lots of luggage or have mobility issues. From the Tennoji Station, proceed underground towards the subway (but do not enter it), walk through the Ekimo Tennoji in the direction of Abeno Q’s Mall. Just before the underground entrance to Q’s Mall, there is a small “outlet” that branches off, where you can see MUFG ATMs, and just opposite that, there is a lift that you can take to 3F where the hotel lobby is. From the pedestrian bridge on Level 2, likewise, look out for a “break” in the path just next to the drug store. The same lift is located there, near a spiral staircase. I just find it more troublesome to access the lift via Level 2 because there is always a steady stream of people walking to and from Abeno Q’s Mall, which makes it very hectic. Our 5N stay at Hotel Trusty was generally fuss-free, and we found the staff very helpful, very polite and pleasant overall. They very kindly received our luggage arrival (via delivery) on check-in day, and also assisted with communicating and confirming our pre-booked airport transfer. We do not speak Japanese, but had no problems communicating with the staff at all. There is an information book/folder at the reception desk, which I highly encourage you to take some time to read it (there is an English version) as it provides you with some information of the hotel and its services. For instance, the folder informs you that guests are free to help themselves to the complimentary coffee/tea/juice bar near the café entrance, where you can also find a microwave there for guest use. I only found out because I happened to read the info sheet in the folder, so just be mindful that information sometimes gets “left out”, though I do not think this was intentional, as the staff have a lot of stuff to go through, e.g., Wi-Fi access, breakfast information, Osaka city accommodation tax etc. We got the Standard Twin Room (non-smoking), which are typically located at the corners of building. I think it was perhaps because of that, that our Wi-Fi connection was spotty depending on where you are in the room. Other than that, rooms were comfortable, and we do not have any other complaints. Bottled water is also provided in the room daily. This is my second time at this hotel, and I was so relieved no second-hand smoke fumes got into my room this time round. Either they improved the ventilation systems, or someone was illegally chain-smoking the last time… We got daily breakfast with the room this time. Breakfast had a mix of Western and Japanese (but mostly Japanese) options. Food was good and the tasted great, but it could do with a bit more variety. For example, they pretty much only ever alternated between bacon and sausage, corn soup and pumpkin soup. The other options like oden, okonomiyaki, the beef stew, fried egg, and French toast, were all staples for my entire stay. Even the side dishes were the same!

“Centrally Located, Perfect location for shopping, business meetings.”

In the center of shopping malls and metro/railway station, very comfortable hotel. Free unlimited Coffee/Tea/Water. Vey fast Wi-Fi internet, Kind and supportive staffs. Auto check out kiosks. Good variety of Breakfast however some more fruit palate can be added.

This to us was the most comfortable and friendly place to stay on our recent trip, the room was so well appointed with just everything . The kind reception assigned a double corner room , the double bed accessible from both sides! A rarity in Japanese hotels these days. Also great connectivity with Q Mall across the street and massive Tennoji station connected via below street passageways . It was also very quiet despite being right at a busy intersection . We’ve stayed here before and will again next time in Osaka
