“Great Family hotel”

If travelling to Osaka and looking for a great family hotel this is a fantastic option. The staff are more than friendly, the hotel facilities are great and the snack bar is really appreciated. It is centrally located and a short stroll to Dontonbori. Thankyou for making our stay so enjoyable.

Our stay at karaksa hotel Osaka Namba was both pleasant and comfortable, even though it was limited to one night. The hotel’s location is exceptionally convenient, offering easy access to the Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori districts, both of which are only a short walk away. The room, while not particularly spacious, was thoughtfully designed and well maintained, providing a comfortable environment for our stay. We especially appreciated the practical bathroom layout, with the toilet housed in a separate enclosed space from the shower and sink area, which added to the room’s functionality. The surrounding neighborhood was notably quiet, allowing for a restful experience despite the hotel’s central location. A thoughtful highlight of our stay was the hotel’s complimentary selection of beverages—including coffee, soft drinks, and water—as well as light snacks, which were readily available and added a welcoming touch to the overall experience.

“location and room size”

We stayed for 3 nights at Karaksa hotel. The room size though small, is considered big for Japan standards. We stayed for 3 nights at Karaksa hotel. The room size though small, is considered big for Japan standards. We felt the bed was way too big, it felt like a super king, taking up too much space in a 19sqm room. This limited the usable and walkable space in the room. A bit tight with 2 big luggages open. Not much space to hang clothes either. Location was superb, 7 mins to shinsaibashi station and the shopping street/dotonbori was just across the main road. Bed was comfortable though aircon was a hit or miss. Whenever it was not cold we had to call the reception to adjust it. Facial amenities were self service at the lobby. Drinks and small snacks added to the convenience. We felt housekeeping can be improved. We returned in the evening to still find hairs on the floor..Sleeping clothes were not folded even after housekeeping was done. It is a decent hotel with a convenient location and reasonable room size if you want to be near the action.
