“A really great Ryokan”
This Ryokan is just great, so glad we stayed here. First colloquial English is spoken by the owners, and they willing answer email questions in advance. They also accept luggage forwarded by Yamato transport. You can book direct if you want. Second, the location is excellent, you can walk to most m… more

“A Wonderful Hotel”
One of the best decisions we made during our recent trip to Japan was staying at the Ohashikan. We stayed in a standard room overlooking the Ohashi River. The room was large and quiet. The futon beds were placed on top of foam mattresses and were very comfortable. The wifi was very good. … more

“Nice ryokan on the water”
Excellent location and service in this ryokan overlooking the river. The staff speaks limited English, but this is not a problem since we found ways to understand each other (Google translate). It is an easy walk to the castle and other attractions and museums in the area.
