I strongly think you will never regret to go to Omaru Onsen Ryokan in Nasu. Nasu has a lot of sightseeing places and Ryokan which you can enjoy fully though, there are several reasons why I recommend you to Omaru Onsen Ryokan. First of all, Omaru Onsen Ryokan's facilities have gorgeous and relaxed atmosphere. Although the building may be looked antique, inside is clean and elegant. When you reached the ryokan, many staffs greet you with a welcoming smile, and you can wait and rest in the wide lobby calmly. The ryokan has 20 guests rooms which are mixed with Japanese-style and Western bed room or only each ones. Especially in the mixed room, you can feel wonderful harmony of Japanese and Western. Second, you can eat very delicious meal with calm atmosphere. All meal are decorated elegantly and has good amount, so you can enjoy seeing the looks and you will not be uncomfortable because of overeat. And also, because this ryokan has the special each single place for having dinner calmly, you can enjoy talking with your friends or family without paying any attention to others. Finally, Omaru Onsen Ryokan has onsen which makes you feel so good. For example, outside one, which you can take a bath while looking nature and hearing sounds of the river near the place. Definitely, you can take a bath slowly and elegantly for each onsen. Furthermore, all of the onsen are great for your health. If you go to the ryokan, you had better go through Spring to Fall. Omaru Onsen Ryokan is in near mountain and far from Nasu Siobara station, so it will be dangerous to go there in winter because the place will be colder and easy to slip for your car. However, there are free shuttle buses from the station to the ryokan. Therefore if you want to go, you can ride it and just reach there within one hour. You have to pay around 20,000 yen to stay the ryokan, so someone might be saying price is expensive. However, you can be given excellent services, eat appetizing meal, see graceful views, and also we can feel gorgeousness and quite different from dairy life thanks to price. You will be satisfied with the ryokan's services. That’s why I highly recommend you to go Omaru Onsen Ryokan.

We were very impressed with the Omaru Onsen. The service was friendly and attentive, the room spacious and satisfactory, and the food was expertly prepared and uniformly delicious (The "special steak set", ordered when we booked the room about a month before, was exceptional). The mountain air was fragrant and absolutely still at night, disturbed only by the gentle sound of the volcanic stream flowing under the Onsen itself. Best of all, the hot baths were open continuously, and spotlessly maintained. The hot spring water can be tasted near the front desk, and has a pleasing flavour and feel and isn't excessively hot or slimy. Multiple bathing options are available, from indoor baths separated by sex, to a large outdoor unisex bath, to a female-only and 'private' groups' baths with locking doors. Perfect for couples and small groups who love fine food and long soaks. Highly recommended.
