“Very good value, nice stay”

Stayed here for one night on my trip through Shikoku. This hotel is close to the station, the room was small but clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was basic but fine. I got a very nice rate, making it a great value.

“Reasonable and Comfortable stay”

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. This hotel locates near JR Tokusima station, 5 min walk. The price are reasonable and I think you can have a comfortable stay. The breakfast fee is included and enough good. Wifi is free. There are smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms. I recommend this hotel.

This place is only a 5 minute walk from the train station, roughly 2 blocks, in a quiet area. It has typical, small, efficient, businessmen’s rooms and very low prices. Clean and comfortable. This place is only a 5 minute walk from the train station, roughly 2 blocks, in a quiet area. It has typical, small, efficient, businessmen’s rooms and very low prices. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast, your typical, mostly vegetables, businessmen’s fare which is offered at 7 a.m. is included. There are a lot of restaurants and izakayas in the neighborhood. A good one across the street from the hotel is Miyabi. Inexpensive and delicious lunch served. The train station and SOGO department store have a restaurant with many great restaurants to try out. Free WIFI in the room.

“Great choice of hotels close to Tokushima JR station”

We stayed at the Toyoko Inn Tokushima Ekimae for 2 nights on a recent trip to Shikoku and would highly recommend this hotel. The room was modern, clean, comfortable and quite large (by Japanese standards). The free wifi works great and the included breakfast is basic but good. There is a coin laundry in the hotel on the ground floor which was really useful too. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke some basic English. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the JR Tokushima station, a 10 minute walk from Awa Odori and Mt Bizan cable car station, a 5 minute walk from a Lawson's convenience store, and a few minutes' walk from a number of restaurants. Overall, therefore, we would recommend the Toyoko Inn Tokushima Ekimae if you want a convenient, easy place to stay whilst in Tokushima.

Had a pleasant stay here with my family. The rooms were small but comfortable and is describe the decor as homely. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. The bathroom facilities were adequate - the shower was a bit primitive. The staff were polite and friendly but did not appear to speak much English. The location of the hotel was great - just near the JR station. There was breakfast served but the times for this were too early for us so we did not try it. The only issue we had was that there were no "do not disturb" or "no housekeeping" signs to stop the cleaning staff coming in when we didn't want them too. Also it the staff found us still in our rooms when they came to clean it would result in the phone ringing and ringing and lots of questions about what time we would like the room cleaned. A do not disturb or no housekeeping sign would have prevented this. I don't know if we somehow missed some instructions re housekeeping and cleaning or whether it is hotel policy to always clean the rooms. One other thing is that there is only one lift and no stairs (other than an alarmed fire escape). First thing in the morning the lift is really busy. We almost missed our train on our day of departure because of this.ere was breakfast served but the times for this were too early for us so we did not try it.
