Great value, very friendly and helpful staff, big bathrooms and efficiently designed rooms with T..V and fridge, free bottled water, and tons of free amenities available in the lobby. Super-clean. Great location in quiet part of AKIHABARA, but right across the foot bridge to where all the action is. So much better than hectic Shinjuku. Good links to rail and metro lines.

We had 3 rooms at the Resol Stay in Akihabara for a recent family trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The rooms were of a decent size for the price that we paid. The hotel was built recently and it showed in the overall condition of the rooms. The 5th floor lobby area was convenient to meet up and discuss our plans, to hang out after our day or to eat all of our snacks that we purchased near by. They also offered free coffee and juice during the day time. A coin laundry is available on this floor with 3 washer and dryer combos. Super easy access to Akihabara station, there is a little bridge over the river next to the train tracks. There is a Lawson down the street. Helpful front desk staff that held our suitcases. It had the nicest bathtub of all the hotels we visited on this trip, great to relax. No breakfast option available. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and would recommend it.

“Nice hotel located closeby station in Akihabara”

We stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our 3 week Japan trip. We had a spacious room at the side of the railroad tracks. But the windows do isolate the noice very well must say. We stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our 3 week Japan trip. We had a spacious room at the side of the railroad tracks. But the windows do isolate the noice very well must say. Roomsize was spacious because we even had a couch in the room. Bathroom with bath was of a good size. Everything kept clean well. The reception area on the fifth floor was also nice and staff friendly and helpfull. No breakfast but with 7-11's and lawsons and so on nearby that ain't a big problem. Location was really good towards the Akihabara station (just cross the bridge beside the railroad and you are allready there. But other options public transfort/subwaystation aren't too far off either.

“It’s ok, but not for two people in a room”

The hotel has a cute vibe to it. The rooms are tiny, you can maybe have one carry on open at a time, that’s all. The side of the bed was pressed against the wall so if you have two medium sized people, one will inadvertently hit the wall with an elbow or a knee. The bathrooms are tiny, too. Lesson … more

The hotel has a cute vibe to it. The rooms are tiny, you can maybe have one carry on open at a time, that’s all. The side of the bed was pressed against the wall so if you have two medium sized people, one will inadvertently hit the wall with an elbow or a knee. The bathrooms are tiny, too. Lesson learned to book rooms over 118sq if you don’t travel solo. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Don’t need western breakfast but there were not Japanese options either-one fish option, some rice. Then curry and steamed rice, miso soup. Veggies, sliced banana Pictures online make it look great but it’s simply not. If you have food allergies, you are out of luck. No coffee machine, either, just some drip, which would be nice as coffee shops in Japan don’t open till later.
