After much research, I booked a Superior twin Room B, to stay during Golden Week, directly with the hotel. I received a great rate. I have been to Tokyo numerous times, and chose a different location to usual. From the moment of arrival, the staff couldn't have been more efficient, helpful and courteous. Check-in was a breeze, and after a flight from the USA, this meant a lot, as I was feeling quite jet-lagged. The room was on the 11th floor, it was so quiet, and had sweeping views over Tokyo. It was huge! About 38 square metres. It had everything I needed, 2 very wide beds, with soft linens and large, comfortable pillows. The bathroom had 4 areas, a separate Japanese toilet, a separate wet room with bath and adjacent shower, and a separate vanity area with 2 sinks. They even provided Epsom salts for the bath, as well as the usual cosmetics. In the hotel reception, there are shave kits, combs, toothbrushes etc, in case you need them. Drip filter coffee sachets were provided, and the coffee was surprisingly good. There was a small fridge, with free bottled water, in the shape of Tokyo towers, replenished daily! A number of the hotel floors have vending machines, along with an ice machine, and a microwave, so it is easy to buy a prepared meal and heat it up. There are a couple of laundry floors, the machines automatically add detergent. The great thing was, you could see on your room TV which machines and dryers were free or in use, before going there. I only ever saw one or 2 machines being used, a d there were plenty spare. Underneath the hotel there is a huge Japanese supermarket, over two floors. Here you can buy everything, snacks, ready made food, bakery items, liquor, sushi etc. I also recommend a visit to this wonderful bakery, 'Kamepan', located within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel (Google says 9 minutes, if you are slower) - just so delicious, and the quality and price was excellent. I walked a few times to Asakusa, and found the location very easy to access other rail and subway lines, to explore many parts of Tokyo. Shibuya and Shinjuku were about 35 minutes away, using public transport, which I thought was fine. Arriving from Narita airport was so easy, direct line, with no changes, to Oshiage station (Skytree) on the Keisei Narita sky access, and a very short walk (220 metres) via A1 exit to the hotel. The hotel helped me send 2 heavier bags ahead to Narita airport via Airporter. What an efficient service! I will definitely use again. I booked and prepaid online, bags were dropped in the hotel lobby by 9.00am, on the day I flew out, and I collected them at the departure level of Narita airport, just before check-in for my flight. Approx A$27.00 per bag. This meant I didn't have to deal with heavy luggage on the train to the airport, in rush hour. I used the hotel's 'Share Lounge', after checkout, for 90 minutes. Note that rates commence on the hour, so I stayed 70 minutes, but paid for 90 minutes. The cost was about AU$ 36.00 for 2 people, including alcohol.Money well spent. The lounge is open to the public, and the most comfortable chairs, and booths were already taken at the time I arrived, late in the day, but it was most welcome to relax here, before leaving for the airport. I have now found my preferred Tokyo Hotel, and I will be booking to return later next year.

“Convenient, Convenient, Convenient!!”

We booked 6 months prior to our trip to Tokyo because Oshiage station was only 200m to Hotel. From Haneda airport it was a direct subway (55mins). But returning to Haneda, we need to transfer at Sengakuji (A07). Next, Oshiage station was very convenient for our sightseeing around Tokyo, we spent some time understanding the Tokyo Subway Route. 😉 Solamachi was just opposite where we stayed. Tokyo Sky tree was just behind Solamachi . At Solamachi, various levels of shopping and food. Everything was perfect. Our room faced Solamachi, and subway / bullet train shared lines, while Oshiage station was underground. Indeed, it was different sights of beautiful lights at night, and watching trains went by. 😍 Reception was on L5, some floors had vending machine and microwave oven to heat up food. Ours was on L10, and it happened to have vending machine and microwave (like a some pantry room) and that was where we heat up our bento boxes which were bought at supermarket directly below Hotel. Laundry was on 6th, be prepared to have 100Yen coin (700 Yen per wash and Dry) . Otherwise you can change at Reception. Any extra toiletries, you can self help at Reception. The only thing that I was quite bewildered, TV had only 1 channel in Japanese. Other than that, TV was basically for me to keep a lookout for laundry collection. There was no cupboard in hotel room, main hanging racks, luckily I brought extra hangers for our family of 4. The toilet and shower were separated, which was something I was grateful.🙏 But not all rooms were such. One of the picture showing the moment whenever I stepped out of hotel, beautiful Sky tree at night. Highly recommend the hotel to travellers to Tokyo.

“Oshiage gem”

The best hotel in Tokyo for my family. We stayed for 12 nights and experience was amazing, contributed by close proximixity to train station (Oshiage Station), chill mall just right across (Tokyo Solomanchi, supermarket (once you step out the main lobby), lovely Sumida River Park leading to Asakusa… more

The best hotel in Tokyo for my family. We stayed for 12 nights and experience was amazing, contributed by close proximixity to train station (Oshiage Station), chill mall just right across (Tokyo Solomanchi, supermarket (once you step out the main lobby), lovely Sumida River Park leading to Asakusa by foot in 20mins, satisfying breakfast, bigger rooms, laundry facility (Yen700 for 3kgs with dryer already) and most especially the best service by the staff. Will always go back here.
