We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lots of free items in lobby entrance that are free for you to take ie toothbrush, razor, shower cap, tea, coffee, sugar etc Our room was equipped with a double bed, kettle, cups, slippers, dehumidifier, TV, extension lead for usb. There was enough room for our two large suitcases, two cabin cases. There were also clothes hangers, shoe wipes and hairdryer in the room.A few items you could hire for a small charge included pillows, straighteners, etc We would definately stay here on our next trip and fully recommend. The location is a great place to based for Tokyo and surrounding areas. Train station only 5 minute walk with one stop to Tokyo station which is perfect for Shinkansen and other lines. Kanda itself has a few bars and eateries. Perfect location.

“Smiling, welcoming and helpful staff”

Excellent hotel with VERY friendly staff. From the minute you walk through the doors in the reception area, you are welcomed by the most helpful and courteous people. “Quiet and Central”

We had a blissful 7 nights stay at this little gem. It is surrounded by many restaurants and izakaya. Kanda station is less than 5 minutes walk, tip use the back entrance, saves time. This station has a metro Ginza line as well as JR lines. Only one stop to Tokyo Station, which is very convenient for us to catch the Shinkansen to our next city. We had a twin room which was adequate for our need. Temperature can be controlled inside the room, which is super handy. Nice shower and amenities can be obtained from the reception area. The bed is too soft for our liking. We tried the breakfast once, and we were very disappointed with the selection of food served. Our travel companions said every day was the same type of selection. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

It's not difficult to find budget accommodation in Tokyo. But finding good budget accommodation in central Tokyo can sometimes be challenging. I was attending a convention an hour by train outside Tokyo but didn't want to miss out on what the city had to offer. So for this trip, this hotel ticked a few boxes for me - location (just one train stop or a 15-minute walk away from Tokyo Station), price point, food options (there were loads in and around the hotel), and ease of transport from Haneda Airport (one transfer needed at Hamamatsucho station, and a short walk from Kanda station). Having arrive in the early evening, I tried unsuccessfully to check in at the self-service terminal. However, there was a friendly and helpful reception staff on hand to provide assistance. My room was a standard single room - smallish in size (but that's how Japanese business hotels generally are), with a comfortable bed, and an adequate bathroom. The design of the room was efficient but the bathroom was quite a step up from (or down to) the living area. The hotel did, however, provide a portable step which was available next to the elevators - something I only noticed on the second day of my stay. As is also usual, shampoo, hair conditioner and body wash was available abundantly in the bathroom. Wifi connection was rapid and reliable. The room was generally quiet but some evening street noise did occasionally creep in from folks who had had a good time in one of the bars surrounding the hotel. The hotel was located close to many businesses, so there was never a problem finding a place to eat. And I never felt unsafe walking the streets after dark. Overall, while offering a relatively no-frills product, this hotel was a very good option for me looking to balance comfort and budget. It would not be a difficult decision to choose it again for a solo trip to Tokyo in the future.
