“RELAXING STAY”

The hotel's location is very near the subway station, and is located in a quiet neighborhood. A lot of vendo machines surround the hotel which is very helpful. The hotel's location is very near the subway station, and is located in a quiet neighborhood. A lot of vendo machines surround the hotel which is very helpful. The staff are friendly and speak very good English. They are also very helpful if you ask for locations of places you want to visit. The room is average size but very clean. The bed, pillows and comforter are very soft that makes your sleep after tiring day very wonderful. The room has foot massager, very ideal if you walked a lot around. Highly recommended!

This hotel was the second of our stay in Tokyo and we were very happy here (previous was Intercontinental due to being on business). We were delighted with this well priced, quiet and comfortable hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the desk was open 24/7. English spoken well enough to get by with all requests. They also kindly booked us a taxi to the airport. The hotel has enough space in the rooms for 2 people and one large luggage, and two small. The bed itself is a small double and if you’re not ‘average’ sized then I’d suggest considering somewhere else if you don’t like sleeping closely. The hotel had good air conditioning and windows were able to be opened to keep the room cool and airy. Hotel close to transport links (20-30mins to Shinjuku by metro and very close to Akihabara Electric Street). If using the metro a lot then look into a Suica card (like British Oystercard but you can also use it in taxis, vending machines and other amenities around the city and further). Overall a great hotel and I’d happily stay here again.

We stayed here overnight, somewhat as a precursor of our BNB. This hotel is basic and would be what you need: Quiet property 3 mins walk from nearest JR 2 mins walk from nearest subway 2 mins from main road with convenience stores and shops The hotel is situated by the Asakusabashi Station. If you're coming from Tokyo, you'd need to go take the Yamanote 1 station to Akihabara (green line), then transfer to the Sobu Line (yellow line) 1 station. The great thing about this property is that once you ride the Sobu, you're 1 station away from the Yamanote Line Loop which goes around Tokyo easily. Remember that the stations have elevators and escalators if you're carrying luggage. It's easy to read maps of platforms without learning english as they are all images so just find the graphic of the escalator or elevator whenever possible. The room is minimal and basic too. Enough room to maybe lay flat 1 luggage which will kind of obstruct the walkway a bit but doable. If you're carrying 3 luggages or more, it might be a challenge. The bed is comfy. The room we got faced the wall of another building about 3meters away, but that's okay as it didn't really affect us. Wifi is good. Didn't know if they had breakfast but there's free coffee til 11am at the lobby. Lobby is small though so after you checkout at 10am, you can opt to still stay a bit but it might be crowded if other people do so too. Other hotels permit late checkouts, but this one would charge you 1000JPY for every 30mins. Love the bed, it was comfy I had a great sleep. One weird thing about this is how the receptionist reminded me to leave the key whenever I go out. I've experienced this before in another hotel and while I trust Japan, this is something don't get. I ended up forgetting about leaving the key anyway. Plus we got back 3am and there's nobody in the reception so I don't know how that could've worked out. The area of this property is quiet. At around 9-10pm establishments close down if you're expecting some kind of night activity, this might not be ideal for you as it is located on the very opposite of the happening areas at night such as Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Roppongi. So if you plan on staying out too late, note of the train operating hours because a cab ride from Shibuya to hear would be around JPY5,000 to give you an idea. However, if you want to geek out, this is ideal being next to Akihabara's Electric City where you can find lots of anime, manga, and electronic related shops - one of which is directly across Akihabara Station (Yamanote), which is 1 station away. I got this hotel on short notice and it might be a bit more cheaper during normal seasons. So for its overall value for what I paid I'm giving it 3stars. If you see this hotel being on the cheap side for your stay, get it. It's sufficiently basic and would be of good value. However if it's practically priced the same as most hotels with a more central location, you might want to consider those too. Nevertheless, our stay was comfortable.
