The room is large for Japan standard ( I have a twin room ), location convenient, opposite main train station. T V too small, and offer nothing other than Japanese channel. Bedding nice, pillow is however a bit too hard. Provided with all necessary accessories including a humidifier/air cleaner, good touch for cold weather. Breakfast O K, with 3 chose : European, Japanese and Chinese .

They keep the room rate low. And you pay, sleep and go. You get what you pay for - a good sleep in a hotel facing the JR station. So you should have no complaint. .

The main forte of this hotel is its close proximity to Yonago train and bus stations as it’s located just in front of the stations on the right hand side. It is within walking distance of all the in-town tourist sites except for the onsen. Public transport is available for going to both Matsue and Sakaiminato. There is no English hotel name sign, but it is directly opposite Yonago Town Hotel in a large grey building. A limited amount of English is spoken, but most communication is in Japanese. Check-in is efficient enough, but remember that you cannot check in before 2pm. However, your luggage can be stored until then in the left-luggage room. The lobby is quite large with seating available, although there is insufficient seating space at busy times. There are many other hotels nearby, some of which provide rooms for half the price of this hotel. So, you may like to consider turning up with nothing booked in advance. The hotel is large with 2 lifts taking you to the room floors. Door keycards can be tricky to use as the door in my room was very reluctant to open even when the green light was showing and I had to try several times since the green light only stays on for a couple of seconds. The room was also inconveniently small consisting of wallpapered walls and carpeted floor with a comfortable double bed with a less than perfect small pillow. There is a desk with a TV, some tissues and a mirror placed on it with a fridge underneath plus a chair and a bin on the floor. There was also a large dehumidifier provided. Another mirror hung on the wall and there was an open wardrobe with three clothes hangers, a clothes brush and a luggage stand. Then, on a shelf behind the bed, there was a telephone. The air conditioning worked satisfactorily and there was good fast WiFi with the password provided in your room. The bathroom is typically Japanese, but felt very cramped on account of its small size. Toothpaste, toothbrushes and shavers were provided at check-in while the bathroom itself was equipped with a couple of towels, one glass and a device dispensing shampoo, rinse and soap which was above the bath tub in which there was also a showerhead. The toilet was of the usual high-tech variety with a washbasin next to it with a plug that worked properly. There was warm water in both the wash basin taps and from the shower. Toilet paper was provided, as expected. No breakfast was included in the price, but, for 1100 yen, you can get breakfast on the 9th floor from 6:30 to 9:30 every morning consisting of a choice of Japanese or Western food. However, I bought my breakfast at half this price from 7-11 in front of the train station. All in all, I thought the hotel was adequate except that the room size was too small and that the price, as a result, was too high. I might consider staying here again next time, but only after I check out the other nearby hotels first though.

The room we had was very hot and the only way to try to cool it was with the the portable air conditioner supplied. This was simply not up to the task! VERY uncomfortable at night! Window only opened slightly, but not enough to provide a through draft No bar, so nowhere to go to have a drink in comfortable surroundings. Wouldn't recommend this hotel unless it is for an overnight stay.
