“Nicely located with full sea view.”
We stayed at room 1201, the biggest one on the floor with western and tatami beds. Room is very spacious with an impressive sea view and the beautiful beach. Obviously, it is a hotel of certain age, yet very popular among the Japanese. Staff speak English which has added value for foreigners… more

“Kaiseki was superb....”
On our 10 day trip touring onsens, we started here at Yanagiya. It's a large hotel, not what you would consider cozy. However, the kaiseki was tremendous. We went in the off-season (April). I bet summers are horrifically crowded? Nearby is a renowned onsen that sits at the ocean's edge. One day … more
