“Good location and old style hotel”
Shirahamakan has a good location. The beach is just across the road. It is convenient for going to beach anytime. Also, the hotel has hot spring and good dining service. Of course, you could go to restaurant nearby but after a hot spring bath probably you would like to have dinner at hotel instead.

“Fantastic food and hot spring”
Even if you come just for the food it's worth it! We had Kaiseki for both nights and had really good lobster sashimi, abalone sashimi and shabu shabu beef. “Old school, Old and Worn, Funky, Yet Over-priced”
Places like the Shiraramakan hold a special place in my heart. A place that is definitely a bit twisted, that appreciates the old and funky, even when the old and funky are rather grotty and worn-out.
