“Fantastic time”
There is a great view of the sea from the onsen on the second floor. In June there were only a few people walking on the beach. At dusk since there was no one around I went skinny dipping. Later I went again for a moonlight swim. The water in the sea is tepid. Fantastic

“Right on the beach and near the castle”
Decent value for a large, spacious room with lanai overlooking the beach and ocean. Perfect for evening walks or a morning jog. “Huge traditional rooms with great views of the ocean”
The rooms are enormous by Japanese standards and the view is gorgeous. Make sure you spring for the ocean side. Worth it. The spa seemed fancy, but my Japanese is non-existent so I found it intimidating. This is my fault, not theirs. Along the same lines, the elaborate dinner was wasted on m… more
