“Stunning room with a view”

We stayed here for 3 nights at were not disappointed. There’s a shuttle bus too and from the station which you can pre-book. Wouldn’t recommend walking, it’ll take over an hour! It’s under a 10 minute walk to the Maple Corridor which was stunning in Autumn and then just a little further to the bus stop for the tourist buses that do different loops around the lakes. The room itself was little dated but very comfortable and had a stunning view of Fuji, we were lucky enough to see it everyday. They have a few private baths which we preferred over the public bath (not our thing) we didn’t struggle to get one. Breakfast was plentiful with choices of both Japanese and Western, I especially liked their Hoto noodles. They have an hour each night where you can enjoy a few drinks from the bar for free and they also have a ramen hour. On our last day we unfortunately had a power cut which lasted for a few days I believe but the staff were hospitable and dealt with it as best they could and we were compensated accordingly. Overall, a great stay. The views of Fuji- san was vey special and I would come back just for that alone.

“WE LOVED IT HERE”

La Vista Hotel was an amazing stay — spacious room, quiet atmosphere, and a stunning view of Mount Fuji. The service was excellent, with convenient pick-up and drop-off from the train station. Too bad we only had one night here — we’ll definitely come back!

Verstanden. Die Stelle muss so korrigiert werden: Overall, a quite decent hotel with a fantastic view of Mount Fuji. The rooms are spacious and quiet. As is typical in Japan, everything is impeccably clean. We were able to park our car directly next to the elevator at the hotel entrance, which was very convenient. The hotel aims to create a Mediterranean atmosphere, and considering that it is located in Japan, they succeed fairly well. The food is good and very nicely presented, though not fine dining—which we did not expect. The staff is consistently very friendly, helpful, and attentive. What personally bothered me, however, was the lack of in-room amenities. Apart from a toothbrush, there was nothing else provided. Even in the simplest business hotels in Japan, you usually find at least a small brush and a razor in the room. While these items may be available in the public baths, at this price level I would expect them to be provided in the room. Overall, a fairly decent hotel with a fantastic view of Mount Fuji.
