This is a great place to stay! Spacious clean house with well equipped kitchen the view on Mount Fuji from upstairs balcony is magnificent. The house provides bicycle rentals ( normal and electric). We rented the normal bicycle which are of good quality and took us around town easily. Location is very quiet and relaxed. The very friendly owners are helpful and even offer transport back to the train station. Would much like to come back!

Many excellent things about the owner/manager and the property: 1. The owner/manager Hiroyuki-san picked my group up from Kawaguchiko station in a minivan which accommodated 4 of us and all of our luggage. 2. Hiroyuki-san remained contactable up-till the pickup timing through e-mail, which was very helpful because there was no way to contact him through phone (we did not have a Japanese phone number). Our connecting bus was delayed and we had to postpone the pickup timing, which he graciously accommodated. 3. He offered to stop by the supermarket in town for us to buy groceries before heading to the villa - an excellent suggestion as the villa is a residential area without shops around. 4. The villa was spacious and excellently furnished with almost anything you could imagine - Cookware and utensils, basic seasoning and oil, a full fridge, among others. Everything you'd need for a proper getaway. We booked the villa with a view of Mount Fuji from the bathtub. Enjoying the view in the heated jacuzzi tub was a great experience. The property is a 5 minute walk away from a small strip of park by Lake Kawaguchiko, with an excellent view of Mount Fuji and the Lake together. 5. Hiroyuki-san remained contactable through Whatsapp, and graciously offered to transport us when we discovered that the nearby bicycle rental store was not open. 6. Hiroyuki-san dropped us off at Kawaguchiko station after check-out. While the property is in a slightly remote area, the entire town is more or less a calm and chill place where shops close early. Therefore it probably would not be much different compared to staying in the town centre.

Frankly speaking I am short of words to tell about this property and hospitality of the owners. This property is Outstanding , fabulous, marvellous, beautiful, comfortable, ideal, perfect and bla bla bla for the family and friends to stay. We were two families with small kids and was thinking to book one villa where 8 people can adjust just to save money but the owner suggested us to book two villas next to each other in same price we were quoted for one villa. Because in japan most of the tariff are according to people staying in house. So they gave us two villas with lot of space and kids had great fun playing around. We arrived Kawaguchiko station by bus and Hiroyuki san the host of villa arranged our pick free of cost from station. He came along with his father in two cars and one car went to villa whereas the other took us to super market to buy groceries. We appreciate his father who waited for us in super market as we took about 30 mins. He was very kind, generous and helpful. The host were available 24 hours and asked us to ping them if we need any help. Special thanks to Hiroyuki san who took us to city centre for the dinner and then picked up also without charging anything else we might have paid about 8000 yen on taxi. Location of the villa was so beautiful in a country side area and you can just feel that you are in heaven when you are walking along lake Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji is standing next to lake. Oh I cannot explain the view but you can judge from the pictures I have attached. In the last I would like to thank Hiroyuki san’s mother a very nice and gentle lady. She gave souvenir’s to our kids and played around with our kids. She is a gem of a person. The host and villas are excellent. We will surely come back and will stay atleast for 3-4 nights because location is mind blowing if you are in love with nature. Thanks once again to Hiroyuki san and his family for taking care of us and provided us everything we asked them.

A perfect place to stay for family vacation . I stayed here with family of 2 kids(9&5yrs)we stayed in kawaguchi for 2 nights but unfortunately villa ensoleille was available for only 2 nights. But still booked it. Though it was inconvenient moving to another hotel for jus 1 night but we took a chance. N trust me it was worth the experience. 1) they pick u from station (inform them in advance for your arrival) 2) u can get the most amazing view of my Fuji from your villa . Better than what people get from cable car trust me. 3) u can walk to the activity area of Kawaguchiko lake. It has all the activities that the commercial or cable car side of the lake has like- duck peddle boat, fishing rental, speed boat, eateries , powder cheese cake (it’s famous but I like American cheese cake factory better) 4) the host were so warm that I felt like home. The lady gave the kids fresh strawberries 🍓 on arrival. N mt Fuji stuffed toy which costs 1000 ¥ outside. 5) they even dropped us to our next hotel Regina which was close to station. Given an option I would stay here again. This area s self sufficient . Also it’s good idea to rent bicycles n move around .
