This is a very basic hotel. The room is not very big, but with a queen size bed for single room. They have rooms for smoking and nonsmoking, so you would need to specify. They also have some rooms that do not have internet, which is very strange. I wanted a non-smoking with internet, which was not available for the first night. The noon-smoking room was very clean and the bedding was of high quality. One thing you would need to know is, the room was unbelievably dry in ear Dec, even if I turn the heating off. The guests have choices of having Japanese or American breakfast, which were very basic. The hotel is very close to the Kofu Station. There are places and a Starbucks in or close to the station for getting good food and coffee. The staff is very friendly and working very hard on the room maintenance. I found that the attitude of the Japanese toward their duties could always win my extra support. If you are traveling to Kofu on a limited budget, don’t be reluctant for staying in this hotel.

The location was about a 5 minute walk from the train station (which had trains from Tokyo) which was convenient. You could easily walk to the town centre which was on the other side of the train station. The room was clean and tidy and you could open the window, which was great because the room was quite warm. The beds (which we found in other locations too) was way too hard and the pillows felt like you were sleeping on rocks. We stayed on the 9th floor which unfortunately was the only floor that didn't have access to Wi-Fi. We had to sit in the reception area, which people came too to smoke, which was quite unpleasant. The staff spoke little english, but tried to be as helpful as possible. Which you have to commend. Breakfast was included and there was a choice between a japanese breakfast or an american breakfast. Food came out on a tray and there was ample amount. However when asked for a 2nd cup of tea or coffee we were charged. I would recommend this for an overnight stay, but wouldn't recommend for long term stays.
