“thabks for reception team”
when we check in we facved problem in our reservation bahaa solve it for us and ms farah give us room witj beautiful view thabks a lot for making our stay memorable and thanks a lot FARAH fir being so nice with us we also enjoyed the breakfast

“The Basin Restaurant”
I had a nice buffet at the restaurant, a lot of options, tasty food and one of the employees (Odai) made my stay very good. Coffee was also nice, and view from restaurant is great. Recommended after long walk in Petra :)

“Cruise ship holiday exersion”
Part of a wonderful cruise trip in 2011 to Jordan's Petra and Egypt's Nile, Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. we stopped off for lunch in this fine hotel. “An unsuspecting oasis. Make a reservation. AC!!”
crown plaza hotel is being renovated. But we went to the basin restaurant located at the end of trail of the Petra Ruins. It’s like an oasis. Indoor air conditioning Restaraunt. Beer wine. And buffet food. Friendly service and bathrooms. It can be crowded. Have fun.

The rooms at the Crowne Plaza Petra need updating, but I think that is in the works. The pool was also under maintenance during our visit which is tough when traveling with children. I do believe that the hotel is working on both of these issues so maybe email first before booking if an updated r... more
