**Fantastic Family Ski Stay – Highly Recommend!** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a brilliant stay at this hotel during our recent ski trip as a family of five (two adults and three children). The location is perfect—just a short walk to the ski slopes and ski school, making everything super convenient. The hotel also has a great boot room to store all our ski gear, which was really handy. We stayed in one of the family rooms in a separate building from the modern part of the hotel. While it wasn’t the newest section, it was exactly what we needed. The room was compact but well-designed, with two single beds, a sofa bed for our youngest, and another separate room for us. There was plenty of storage with big wardrobes for all our ski gear. One of the highlights for us was the **spa area**—our children absolutely loved the pool after a full day of skiing! The sauna and steam room are 16+, so we took turns enjoying those while the kids had fun in the pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also ate at the hotel restaurant one evening, and they were very accommodating for children. On other nights, we tried some of the great local restaurants nearby. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would **highly recommend** this hotel for a ski trip! The rooms were spacious with an amazing view. Beds were super comfortable. Everyhting was super clean. I specially want to mention the staff which was super helpful and quick to help us. They cleaned the room on the second day when we were there. The sauna was really nice. They have 2 types of saunas and 1 steam room in the SPA. One amazing room for relaxation and a blue light relxation therapy room. They also offer different massages on demand. Swimming pools were okay. Overall high value for money. Highly recommeded.

We used to come here every winter for a family ski holiday and it was always a perfect 5* experience. Then they shut down for a couple years and re opened under a new brand. While not much seems to have physically changed outside of some more lounge areas in the spa and the new restaurant and non use of the old one, a lot has changed in the service. This used to be a one stop all inclusive ski holiday. You didn't need to worry about food or drink or getting to the hill or renting equipment or anything. They took care of everything for you. Now you only get breakfast. The dinner restaurant is only available 5 nights out of the week and you are looking at minimum 50€ a person for dinner. That's with just mains and water (careful, they refill your glass so much that we ended up paying €50 just for water in one night with 4 people). You can easily pay €100+ each with multiple courses and drinks. Unfortunately all of the restaurants nearby are kind of fast food type stuff so you will have to drive if you want something else of decent quality. I can say that the restaurant is excellent and is not over priced for the quality, but it doesn't make sense for a family holiday to eat that fancy every night. And if you stay all week, it's not even possible every night anyway. Honestly we miss so much about the old hagleitner system: - all inclusive - ski bus - ski rental - family room with 2 kids beds - check in at main hotel, not lugging bags from the spa - less walking needed to restaurant and spa - better organized (enough salt to go around, sheets ready for bed, eyc) I hope they move back to the old model, it was a 5* family experience and we were happy to come every winter. For now there are better family options available for similar price when you look at cost of meals in the restaurant and the added hassle of the experience now. The hotel is still in a good location, though. The skiing is good and a short walk to the public bus. The spa is okay but nothing amazing. It is not a bad experience if the offer is what you are looking for, but for us there are better family options and we will be switching next year.

An okay place, but not in city centre of Zell am see. It takes about 30 min to walk there, but it is a really nice walk by the see. There was a very nice bar at the hotel with a very good barkeeper. The restaurant was closed so we couldnt try it. The hotelrom was a bit small but ok. A minibar would be great. We didnt have breakfast, as 30 euro is pretty much for that. Just keep in mind that there is not many places to eat around there.
