This was bar far the best Ski Holiday Hotel we have ever stayed at over 25 years of skiing in the Alps. Great value for money, excellent facilities on site including pool sauna, games room, free bike hire use. Many people complain that they hear the trains but we heard none at all or nothing that would spoil a holiday. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Food choice amazing, you name it, it was there for breakfast. Evening Meals we are 5 course arrangement with a change of main meal options and deserts every night, there was always an option for vegetarians on the menu. Bus stop to the ski areas right outside the hotel. A short walk 2km to Zell centre if you wanted to walk along the lake side paths or 2 stops on the bus about 5 mins. The hotel felt very welcoming and upmarket without the upmarket prices. Rooms were clean and looked like they had recently been refurbished. Would highly recommend for a ski holiday.

We travelled with crystal ski. Flew to Salzburg and then 1 1/2 hour bus transfer. We eventually got to the hotel and checked in via a pleasant team on the reception desk. We travelled with crystal ski. Flew to Salzburg and then 1 1/2 hour bus transfer. We eventually got to the hotel and checked in via a pleasant team on the reception desk. We took our bags to the room and went for dinner. We were quite disappointed with the size of the room and after dinner had a chat with reception. They were so kind and with the help of the Crystal rep Sophie we were moved the next day. Once the room was sorted our appreciation of the hotel and its facilities and grew. Such a wonderful team all the way through the hotel. I am a skier and my wife is a non skier. If you want a hotel to accommodate both then do not hesitate to book. There is so much to do here. The hotel is located directly next to the bus stop which can transfer you to Ski lifts. Excellent. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. We were served by the wonderful Ramona who really looked after us. We were seated in a very sociable area and chatted with fellow guests for hours. Meal times were excellent. Thank you Ramona. The kitchen party was great fun introducing the staff to guests. Skiing very comprehensive. Go for the full valley pass enabling you to ski at many other resorts. Kaprun was spectacular. Lovely hotel with excellent facilities and really good food. Breakfast options in particular were numerous and extremely good - fantastic range of tea, coffee, juice, hot and cold items including cereals, meat, cheese, fish, salads, etc as well as made to order omelettes and eggs or pancakes. Unusually the hotel was even better than the pictures made it look. Friendly and attentive staff. Difficult to fault.
