I have stayed here annually for the past few years. The staff are always lovely - helpful, welcoming and efficient. The rooms ave all been renovated and very comfortable, nice coffee machine in the room and I love the fact they put a packet of fresh milk in the fridge! Great breakfasts , the food is good although this time only one restaurant was open due to the season . my only gripe is the pillows in the bed - they are huge , thick and solid. Please , please give some softer pillows!

I stayed here to be close to a business event that I was participating in. I think one would be hard pressed to find a hotel like this in this area of Nairobi these days. Most hotels around the area are either the soulless but well-appointed global brands or kind of run-down old hotels. The Fairview is a fully renovated hotel with fairly large grounds and a garden restaurant. The outdoor spaces are great. Had a good pizza from the garden cafe. The rooms are clean and contemporary. I found mine to be a bit small. Staff here are great. I thought it was quite expensive relative to other options. Overall it's a unique option in Nairobi and is great for someone staying for a while who will use the garden cafe and grounds to relax after a busy day.

“Nice grounds, beautiful atrium, some rooms very nice some old or small”

Its a nice green space, the atrium is modern and nice, good breakfast. Some rooms are large and modern, some old and small so make sure to ask for a nice option at checkin. Food was OK but many items from menu were not available
