“What a wonderful place”

Your facilities are clean, safe, and beautiful! Though we only stayed one night, we really liked all of the staff that we encountered! Wonderful place and people!! The art along the hallways was beautiful, too!

We stayed 5 days and it was very pleasant. The staff of the hotel is great, they always are very friendly and helpful in all regards. I would rate the service level as very high and customer oriented. E.g. my AC was broken one day and within minutes someone came and rested the AC. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, all you need and more. I enjoyed especially the fresh squessed juices. The building is old but taken good care of. The spa in my pinion however is too old and I only used it once.

I have stayed at the InterContinental Nairobi for a one-night stopover in January. The hotel is well located opposite the Parliament and well secured with armed forced guards and military patrolling the premises. As a guest, this is a crucial aspect while choosing a hotel and gave me a sense of security through my short stay. The check-in process was smooth, fast and professional. The standard room was well equipped and of a decent size; the bed was comfortable, and the housekeeping team prompted responded to my request for an antiallergic pillow within minutes. The bathroom is pretty small, offering a bathtub (unfortunately with curtain) and no bidet; amenities are also of a good range and well presented. I had dinner at the main restaurant 'Terrace'; the buffet offered a good selection of starters, main courses and desserts. The chef behind the live cooking station was helpful, able to interact politely and to suggest different dishes. Service was professional and attentive. Breakfast at the same location was also excellent, although the service was unorganised with many different waiters approaching the table and not be able to deliver a cup of coffee on time. Check-out was also okay, although the front desk staff seems to be distracted and not equal good as the arrival experience. The private chauffeur to the airport was also a pleasant experience. Overall a very good stay with only a few service glitches; however, I am planning to stay again at the hotel during my next trip in Nairobi.

Stayed for 5 days whilst at a conference. Room was very spacious and bathroom clean. Windows could be more sound proof - especially with music outside. Staff are very attentive, potentially too attentive meaning you’re frequently asked if you’re ok / they can get you something. Breakfast has a whole range of options, limited vegan options available on hand, but apparently you can ask the chef to make something - I survived with what was available. Used hotel taxi service which was very professional and reliable.
