“Convenience, a Refuge.”
Central and within walking distance of the center of town. Also booked a van at the hotel to travel there and back from the ancient Khmer Temple of Wat Phou about 1.5hrs away. and the Bolaven Plateau. Owner operated and owner's brother has a coffee plantation and a cafe right next to the hotel.

“Clean comfortable quaint hotel”
Lovely old colonial building, however they have added some extra glass doors to the balcony for noise insulation which meant I had 2 uninterrupted nights sleep due to the quietness of the place. “It's well past its heyday”
Pakse is a bit of a one horse town and there is very little there for tourists. I expect the hotel was amazing in its heyday but it has not been maintained and is expensive for a run down hotel in need of renovation.
