A very cosy hotel in a perfect old-town location. The staff were very attentive, and the room service was of a high standard. During my stay the weather was very snowy and cold, and snow clearing could be heard during the late evening hours or early morning. I was also woken a few times by car alarms. If you are a light sleeper, bringing earplugs might be a good idea. Overall, a lovely stay with great service and atmosphere.

Overall, this was a fantastic stay - though some small tweaks would make it even better. Location is pretty much unbeatable: right in the heart of the old town and walking distance to nearby attractions, it really is a no-brainer. Typically, we chose the Lithuanian State Day with an enormous crowd and celebration outside when we arrived - so much so, our taxi couldn’t get to the hotel, which is next door to where independence was signed and declared. Despite this, we saw the novelty side and battled through to the hotel - a unique experience! The hotel itself is beautiful: it reminded us of a Moroccan riad mixed with an old-school, elegant hotel. Simply impressive. Check-in was quick and easy though we had arrived before our room was ready so we waited in the well-appointed bar. The room was huge: a 1 bedroom suite with separate living space that doubled as the second bedroom and an attached bathroom which was as big as some hotel rooms on its own. We had welcome chocolates, two bottles of water each per day, spa attire, tvs, fridge, WiFi etc. Some down points: the safe was unusual; selection of tv channels (and the fact it was not a smart tv) seems out of kilter with this standard of hotel, the air conditioning was nonexistent (though in -15 Celsius was no issue for us) and the water pressure in the bathroom was inconsistent. There were also random noises in the bathroom at night from the pipes, which we put down to the usually cold weather. None of this impacted us hugely but just seemed so odd compared to the luxury and brilliance of the rest of the hotel. The spa was small but lovely enough - though many of the buttons didn’t work so the hot tub bubbles for example didn’t work. Again, odd for such a grand hotel. The room keys also didn’t open the spa so you have to go and ask to be let in at reception. Some have reported you have to give them the heads up to what up the pool but we never did during our stay. Food in the restaurant for breakfast was good enough: some nice bits including sparkling wine and quail eggs, and plenty of choice but I have experienced better in similar standard hotels. Upstairs in the bar, it was fancy and it really wasn’t practical with a family of young children though they did get us some fries on request as a snack whilst we waited and we had a free welcome drink each which was a lovely touch. Service at the hotel was phenomenal throughout and the twice daily cleaning service impressive - a throwback to high standards of the past that some hotels have taken away. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and should I find myself back in Vilnius, I would have no qualms with choosing here again. A great city break.

“Long weekend stay in Vilnus”

We had a nice stay in Vilnus, Hotel was excellent and location was perfect, it was nice enjoy Christmas atmosphere in the different place than usuyally.
