I've been staying at the Shakespeare Hotel for nearly 20 years, and it consistently meets my business travel needs. The hotel, situated in an old building in the charming old town, combines comfort with functionality. The rooms are comfortable, offering a good night's rest after a day of meetings. The à la carte breakfast provides a varied start to the day, and the service throughout the hotel is efficient and unobtrusive. Their conference room is well-suited for small group meetings, making it an excellent venue for business discussions. While I note the bar is currently closed, I hope to see it reopen in the future. Overall, the Shakespeare Hotel remains a competitive and reliable option for business travelers in Vilnius.

“Very nice hotel.”

This is a very nice hotel with a very good location in the old town of Vilnius. The service is excellent, it’s clean and the breakfast is outstanding. If I should recommend changes it would be to add a roomnumber instead of the names. I do reccommend thos hotel

I think i'm on a roll when it comes to picking hotels in city centres, this hotel was excellent, the rooms do not have numbers, they have names, mine was 'Voltaire'.. take a look at their website. The room was perfect, the bed was comfortable, nice bathroom (and a welcome bath), tea and coffee facilities (but no milk or creamer, but ask at breakfast and they will give you a little jug of milk). TV channels limited (UK viewers) Breakfast (14 euros) was a la carte, good selection. Used taxis for airport transfers both ways, 25 euros each way. Bar was closed, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants around the area. Location was excellent, everything was within walking distance. Definitely recommend this hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful and will return for the christmas markets. Thank you.

Recently stayed her for one night on our travels. The hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of Old Town, but tucked away down a quiet street. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the private and free parking. They have a parking lot through the main entrance of the hotel, which can accommodate a decent amount of vehicles -- we easily found a spot. The hotel has a fun theme of literary authors, and we were put in the Shaw room. The rooms are all a bit dated, with decorations that make it seem a bit like you are staying at an older relative's house. But on the plus side, the rooms were all pretty clean and fine, minus a bit of mold around the tub area and pretty thin pillows. Every staff member we met was incredibly friendly and helpful. The front desk staff even specially opened up the outdoor terrace for us to sit at one evening... a terrace that is usually only available during breakfast hours. Speaking of... the breakfast was included with our rate. They have a menu with made to order options like crepes, eggs, and pancakes. On top of that, they also has cold buffet options with croissants, yogurt, etc. It was a good amount of choices and quality for the price. Now for the unfortunate big negative of our stay. The walls between the rooms are paper thin. We heard conversations on each side of our room... but the worst part was that our neighbor played music long into the night. To be honest... the music choices were actually pretty good, but as I was laying in bed listening to the lyrics at 1am with a looming early flight in the morning, it began to get quite frustrating. Eventually, I had to call down to the front desk, and request for them to ask our neighbor to turn it down. To give some perspective, I probably stay at nearly fifty hotels a year, and this is the first time in my life I have ever had to call down to a front desk -- that gives you an idea on how thin the walls are. Overall, it's a cute hotel, with a great location, but if you worry about a quiet night sleep, you may need to rethink your choices.
