My husband and I spent 4 wonderful nights here and we would highly, highly recommend 11 Cadogan Gardens. First, the hotel is charming, older, sophisticated, beautifully and classically British decorated with a library and bar. There is an old-fashioned, wonderful elevator. Our king-bed room was lovely and spacious with a large bathroom and comfortable bed-(plus, we had AC which was critical this summer in London). Second, the staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and warm. James, the concierge is a gem and was extremely helpful in all aspects of our stay-transportation issues, restaurant recommendations, and planning activities. The folks at front desk reception were great, especially the woman who showed us our room and she also checked us out (sorry I cannot remember her name). She was very sweet and warm. Third, the location: The Chelsea area of London is perfect-a quaint, residential area, safe, and full of restaurants and charm. Also, convenient to underground. We loved that one side of the hotel opens to this quaint street and then you walk downstairs through the hotel and out through the connecting Hans' Grille restaurant to Pavilion Road. Pavilion Road is a lovely, pedestrian-only, street full of bustling restaurants and shops. Fourth, the breakfast was excellent; there is a wide variety of food choices from the menu at Hans. We also enjoyed a lovely, formal tea at the hotel. Lastly, a pleasant surprise is the Chelsea House (a sister property around the corner with a special garden in the back) which is available to guests at 11 Cadogan Gardens . We watched one of the World Cup games there with a fun group of guests. While this hotel is pricey, we felt that it was well worth the money for the fabulous experience. We hope to return one day.

Our stay at Cadogan's was really lovely. Our room was petite but very comfortable and cozy. The food was excellent (and as French guests, we can be quite picky about that!) The English breakfast at Chelsea House was delicious, and the suite and decor at Cadogan's were beautiful as well. The staff were wonderful. Joyab was fantastic throughout our stay, from afternoon tea to dinner. Alexandra took the time to walk us through the history of Cadogan's and the rooms, and gave us great advice about the city. She really went above and beyond. This is a new Relais & Châteaux member in the UK, she was very elegant, attentive, and delivered exactly the quality of service you'd expect from a Relais & Châteaux. It was also our honeymoon, and they made it truly special with lovely touches throughout (from afternoon tea on arrival to a fantastic dinner) Thanks again Alexandra for everything and your help during our stay.

“Super location, great in house restaurant, all you could ask for”

We were a family group ranging in age from 8-78. Our young family stayed in the apartments while us grandparents stayed on the 3rd floor in the main hotel. We were a family group ranging in age from 8-78. Our young family stayed in the apartments while us grandparents stayed on the 3rd floor in the main hotel. The accommodations were absolutely lovely but the service, care and concern for all of us was a huge part of what made our stay there so enjoyable - responsive and kind. I was under the distinct impression that every single member of the staff genuinely enjoyed their jobs and took delight in providing top level customer service - a special shout out to James and Salvano! Truly - we hated to leave.
