“Brilliant base - The blackbird!”
Great hotel, stayed for 4 nights in January, very close to Earl’s Court tube station and a perfect base for us to visit Kensington Palace and the Victoria & Albert museum. “Nice but cost - wow!”
High end pub food. I had a steak and ale pie, a hearty meal for £19.95, $40 Australian. It was nice but the cost was wow! Par for the course in London.

“Decent Food”
We wanted to find a family friendly typical London pub. We went here for the fish & chips. Service was good. Food was typical pub food. Food was freshly cooked and hot. It was basic fish and chips, not much to write about. Not excellent, but not bad.
