We had never stayed at this hotel before, but we were going to Rhs Chelsea and York and it was a lovely base. Gabi was excellent and informative on check in and check out was as simple as handing our cards to staff member. We had a deluxe room and it was massive, the bed was comfy although we could have done with 2 pillows each rather than the 1 each allocated. There was some outside noise, but not much. The biggest noise was returning guests in the corridor slamming their room doors or talking loud,but neither detracted from our stay. Breakfast was excellent and included. Humongous selection of food. Bathroom was excellent and towels luxurious and sink plug actually worked, which it doesn't always in much more expensive hotels. This is slightly more expensive than a premier inn, but not as expensive as some hotels we have stayed in. We were so impressed, we have resolved to definitely return.

We visited this hotel on 11th May to attend the Royal Garden Party. The hotel reception staff were very helpful on arrival and the room was modern, clean and comfortable. 12 o clock check out was helpful. We asked for a room to change after checkout and were able to use the rest rooms which were fine. The porters were excellent in helping us retrieve and store our bags multiple times - thank you !. Prakesh was particularly kind and helpful. The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Natural History Museum etc. etc. The Victoria tube station is literally across the street so very convenient. I would recommend Rosa's Thai restaurant across the street from the hotel for lovely Thai food. The breakfast selection was also plentiful. We will definately be returning to this hotel. Thanks guys !.

“TAKE THE STRESS OUT OF YOUR LONDON TRIP”

Best location in London, across from Bus and Rail station. Walking distance to Big Ben etc. Loads of restaurants and coffee shops within 5 mins walk. Best location in London, across from Bus and Rail station. Walking distance to Big Ben etc. Loads of restaurants and coffee shops within 5 mins walk. Staff very nice and attentive, rooms are fabulous with the comfiest of beds, USB connections in sockets, shower/toilets bright and fresh, big mirrors, magnified vanity mirror. We had a room with a view across city with the Shard, Big Ben etc and a view right down street to Vauxhall Bridge. Plenty of lifts so no waiting. Breakfast room had a fantastic range of food and loads of seating. Only downside would be the bar, only holds a hand full of people and a bit pricey, but it didn't matter as you had Weatherspoons next door along with many other establishments close by. All in all we will be returning later this year for our third stay at Riu Plaza Victoria.

If you want cheap and cheerful this hotel is satisfactory. However, if you want cosy, homely and to leave feeling refreshed, I would not opt for Riu Plaza Victoria. If you want cheap and cheerful this hotel is satisfactory. However, if you want cosy, homely and to leave feeling refreshed, I would not opt for Riu Plaza Victoria. There are no carpets in the room, which leave it feeling clinical. The layout of the hotel is bizarre with long, dark endless winding corridors. The white towels had make-up/fake tan orange stains on them. The breakfast did have a good selection with plenty of choice. The location is also ideal, close to Victoria tube line, but noisy next to the roadside. The beds have 1 pillow and not particularly comfy.
