“Great location, very well designed small room - has everything you need”

Location perfect for us (we did lots of walking to include lovely leisurely walk from Sky Garden to the hotel), very close to Notting Hill and practically beside Hyde Park. Location perfect for us (we did lots of walking to include lovely leisurely walk from Sky Garden to the hotel), very close to Notting Hill and practically beside Hyde Park. Hotel itself is small but lovely, recently refurbished and is clean with all the mod cons - we were very impressed. The BEST shower ever and bed really comfortable. Service staff friendly and helpful. Only downside to staying here is that there is not a huge choice of places to eat in the direct area. Would definately stay here again and would recommend

“Signature Jacuzzi Room”

Short walk to Queensway tube station, easy to find, pleasant check in staff. Short walk to Queensway tube station, easy to find, pleasant check in staff. We booked the signature jacuzzi room for my birthday for a reasonable price for the area and were very excited to experience the double hot tub bath. The room was clean, modern, comfortable, has a powerful rainfall shower, quiet, big tv with streaming apps . There was a small kitchenette (no wine glasses) and plenty of soft towels. However the jacuzzi would only send out boiling hot water (the screen read 50C!!) The reception was unmanned at this point and although there was an out of hours number for emergencies, we didn’t warrant this being an emergency. There was no manual in the room on how to use so we had to google the brand and find our own instructions. There was also a panel near the bath on the wall which would not work and we have no idea what this is for. We got the reception lady to look the next morning with the hopes we could use before checkout and she confirmed the temperature tap was broken and would not go round to the cold water side. She said she would report this to the management team. On checkout, she confirmed off her own back that she had spoken to the management team and they will be in contact. Unfortunately, we’ve heard nothing. After a week I sent an email directly to the hotel, and then 3 days later to the general Nox email. Still nothing. Very disappointing and puts me off using the chain again, despite the good parts of our experience. Sadly we have received no compensation or reimbursement for not being able to use our rooms full facility. We stayed at this hotel for the jacuzzi bath but could not use this at all, so would have stayed somewhere else if we had known it was broken (Why were there no checks done by staff prior to guest check in?)
