Hub by Premier Inn Soho A bit of a bold move going for such a low budget hotel in the middle of Soho. We knew that there would be a reason for the nice prices (£487 for three nights in a double room), and we found out soon enough. We knew the rooms were on the small side, but you always hope that you're lucky. We went for the superior room, but it still was so tiny, we almost couldn't find space for the suitcases. Otherwise, the room was fine - nice, clean and quite new. A good bed and fantastic air condition, which you could operate from the bed post. We kept it a cool 19 degrees celcius throughout. Good air condition was a must, though - as you couldn't open the window... You couldn't even see out, so I guess that arrangement cut a few quid of the bill. The staff were mostly nice and helpful, but we were a bit disappointed by the welcome. Nobody at the reception, and you were supposed to check in yourself, on a machine. That didn't work do us though, and when someone actually turned up behind the counter, she were reluctant to help because she was "on her lunchbreak". In the end we got assistance from a colleague, and we could go up to our room. But it got me a bit hot under the collar, that we didn't get help when the check-in machine was malfunctioning. The stay itself was a pleasant one. The breakfast was served in the -1 floor, an airy and spacy area of the hotel. Nice. Not much to chose from on the buffet, but the English breakfast was good - although I'd rather have fried eggs instead of scrambled eggs. And any hotel with croissants are all right in my book! We will absolutely recommend The Hub for couples like us. The money you save on the room, and £487 for three nights IS cheap, will come in handy when exploring Soho, where there is plenty to use your cash on. That said we will go for a bit larger room if we were to stay here again - and that is likely.

Ok sized room. (Superior double room) Decent bed but no more. No more than 190cm long, so be prepared for your feet to dangle in mid air if you’re a bit on the tall side. Ok sized room. (Superior double room) Decent bed but no more. No more than 190cm long, so be prepared for your feet to dangle in mid air if you’re a bit on the tall side. Hotel is well soundproofed, you barely pick up any sounds from activity in the hotel and surroundings. Ok clean room and bathroom, but NO toiletbrush… Friendly staff and no problem placing luggage on site before check in opens, or when you’re checking out. Breakfast comes at £8, nice.
