“Perfect Sanctuary Hotel in a Great Locatoo”

This is a fantastically located, well run hotel, with well appointed room (very importantly AC!), friendly staff and on a largely quiet side street, less than 10mins walk to Bayswater Tube

Room is clean and cute but it has all you need. Close to the underground and supermarkets and located in relatively very quiet area. I truly had a good time here.

One of the best hotel experiences we have had in London! We have already decided to stay there again for our next visit to London. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and efficient. All were very polite and acknowledged us with a sincere smile each time we crossed paths. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We were surprised to be called from reception on our first afternoon to be asked if we were satisfied with our lodging. Now that is truly excellent customer service in our book!! Our room was clean and tidy, with a small fridge and a safe for any valuables. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, allowing for a proper night’s rest. The ensuite room was well-sized and kept scrupulously clean. The shower was perfectly sized, unlike in some other hotels where one can hardly move properly. The breakfast room was always kept perfectly clean. The breakfast was plentiful with a variety of healthy options. Individuals with coeliac disease are also catered for: there were several gluten-free options which were hermetically sealed to avoid cross-contamination. A lot of thought and care must have been made for serving a wholesome breakfast. We are very grateful to all the staff for their hospitality and care. In particular, we would to thank Mr Hassan for being so genuinely caring towards us. Thank you, sir!

I stayed 2 nights at The 55 Le Mirage in May 2026. I am appreciative of the clean and well-maintained room and common areas and dining hall. I was able to rest comfortably in my room. The bed and bedlinen and pillows were super comfy, and the bath towels were luxurious! The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and well-maintained. The room has a homely feel with a touch of luxury. Well-apportioned, with a thoughtful layout and amenities, which include a coffee machine. Staff were accommodating and helpful, as they processed my check-in when I arrived before the 3 pm check-in time, and accommodated my request for an early check-in to a room once it was ready for me. The boutique hotel is housed in a beautiful georgian-style building in a residential neighbourhood which also has other boutique hotels, within walking distance of the Bayswater underground station and Kensington Gardens. There are good food and dining areas near the hotel, with cafes and convenience stores within walking distance.
