Lovely hotel in perfect location. Literally caught bus to outside the hotel. Rooms small but so clean and well furnished. Loved little extras like glass water bottles and chunky glasses to drink from. Flannels provided too. Shop few minutes away and cafes for breakfast literally down the next street. Lovely walk to Kensington gardens.

“A fantastic vacation”

We only stayed for three days, but we were truly amazed by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The service was excellent, and the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The location is also fantastic: it’s situated in a lovely neighborhood, very easy to reach, and conveniently close to the District, Circle, and Piccadilly underground lines. At the same time, it’s within walking distance of many major points of interest, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If we really had to point out a small downside, it would be that we tried to use the smart TV, but it wouldn’t connect to the internet. Additionally, in the morning you can hear some noise from other guests leaving their rooms or from housekeeping. Overall, however, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly recommend this hotel.

Very convenient to the Earl's Court station, restaurants, pubs, and convenience stores. It was a safe neighborhood. Hotel was clean and visually appealing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I realize rooms in London at this price are small, but for Americans, the room was very small. Also, the hotel is situated near a hospital so you do hear sirens at night.

Overall, the hotel was great — everything was very good except for one thing, which had nothing to do with the hotel itself, but rather with how the staff handled a situation. My mom and I were repeatedly disturbed by the guests staying in the room above us. Every evening from around 9–10 pm until 1 am, we heard very loud banging noises coming from the room. It sounded almost as if someone was dropping weights on the floor. These bangs occurred about 8–10 times per hour, sometimes louder than at other times. My mom and I had a hard time falling asleep because of this. I even wore earplugs, but I was still startled awake by the loud noises. We had an early flight back home, so we had to get up at 3:40 am. On the following evening, I had had enough of the noise and was worried about my mom, so I called the reception. The receptionist said she would check on the noise, but I have a feeling nothing was done, as the banging never stopped. As mentioned, the hotel itself was great — the bed was comfortable, the staff were nice, and everything was clean, etc. However, the main purpose of our stay was to sleep, which we unfortunately couldn’t do properly. That is the only reason for the “semi” bad review.
