We stayed at The Rockwell Hotel for a few days as we needed to be over this side of town, and it turned out to be a genuinely lovely surprise. From the outside it’s very unassuming, the sort of place you might walk past without realising what’s tucked behind the doors. Inside, though, it’s a completely different story. The room we were given was fantastic and far more spacious than we expected, which is always a welcome discovery when you’re living out of a suitcase. One of the real highlights was the walled garden. It’s a calm little escape that feels almost removed from the city entirely; a great place to unwind with a drink and pretend you’re far more organised and relaxed than you actually are. The staff really stood out as well. Some of the friendliest we’ve come across, warm, helpful, and effortlessly welcoming without it ever feeling forced. All in all, The Rockwell has that rare combination of being understated from the outside but genuinely excellent once you’re in. A bit like finding out the quiet person at the party is actually the most interesting one there.

I stayed in a single room on a Friday night and the location was perfect for going to the Apollo Eventim. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was larger than I expected. The room had everything I needed and a nice view too. I thought it was very good value for what was provided and the location. The hotel is lovely and staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be going back in the future.

“Exceptional Hotel”

We’ve stayed in numerous hotels recently in this area of London. The Rockwell stands head and shoulders above the others. Spacious, airy and VERY comfortable rooms; excellent staff and service; sublime breakfasts. Definitely worth staying here. We can’t wait to return.

“Lovely hotel”

Lovely hotel in a nice quiet location , 5 minute walk from Earls court tube . Staff were super friendly and the rooms and open areas clean and well appointed , also very well priced . Will be back !
