Restaurant very clean. Very nice garden. You can choose the bungalow for the beach front or garden front. Both categories have their speciality of the beauty. The bungalows are very big with king size bed. Service wifi perfect. Good for the business stay.

My husband and I stayed at hotel Ravintsara Wellness hotel for 8 nights in November 2025. We are overall very satisfied. We needed to relax and are glad we chose this hotel. We got picked up at the airport as scheduled. The hotel consists of many nice, large and clean bungalows in a large garden / parc with many exotic animals and plants. Our bungalow had a large jacussi and the fridge was filled up with water and soda every day. It was nice and modern furnished. The bed was large and nice. The hotel is right on the beach where we could go for long walks every day at ebb sea. We liked that a lot. The staff were very polite and service minded. They spoke French and English. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices of fresh exotic fruit, eggs and different sweet plates ++. We also had dinner in the restaurant every evening. Some evenings they were out of some of the dishes but it was a lot to choose from and the portions were large. I tried the spa one time and was not disappointed. Delicious aromatherapy from a professional therapist. We used the gym almost every day. It was also in a sort of bungalow with open «walls». Very exotic and well equipped. I only missed cleaning spray and wipe towels for the mats plus a water supply in the gym. The sunbeds had thick madrasses. The trees functioned as a shelter from the sun. Very exotic. The waiters served us drinks and food under the trees and the food was all in all of good quality. There is not much to do at the hotel other than relax and swim. But this was perfect for us. As we walked by the beach there were a few vendors selling massages, excursions and souvenirs. They were polite and not at all intrusive when we did not buy things from them. ( I tried one massage). Two points of improvement is that they make a safer stairs down to the beach. And also that they remove the algae and seaweed from the beach shore at ebb sea. If you want to relax in an exotic and safe environment. This is the place for you. We went for one excursion to Nosy Comba with another company.

It is a good thing that the rooms and grounds are so beautiful, because the price gouging and lack of customer service/respect at Ravintsara Wellness Hotel would otherwise ruin your visit. We spent four nights at Ravintsara, and my first impression was fantastic. The landscaping and grounds were truly spectacular, and the rooms were large and well-appointed. It was a welcome change from many of the other hotels and resorts we had visited during our 16-day tour throughout Madagascar, with the exception of Le Relais de la Reine, which truly understands how to treat their guests like guests. Maybe Ravintsara management should spend a few days there to learn. Once we settled into our room, I reached for the spa menu with excited anticipation. I was disappointed to see that they didn’t offer deep tissue massage, or male therapists, which I book because I prefer a strong massage. Their focus seems to be on “relaxing” massages, which is not what I needed. Since the service was not available on property, and our room was large enough to accommodate a massage table, I researched local professional masseurs available and booked one who offered deep tissue treatment. When the therapist arrived, the front desk staff would not let him come to the room. I went to the lobby to explain that the service I wanted, with the gender of therapist I prefer, was unavailable at the resort. They called the Spa director, who dismissed me immediately and instructed the front desk staff to say absolutely no. While I appreciate that they are operating a business, they did not offer the service I required. Their on-site massage was 120 Euro, compared to 20 Euro from the local professional. Everything on property is charged in Euro at European rates. 50 Euro polos, etc. I doubt they’re paying their staff European wages. My goal was not to save money, but to get the message I wanted. Up to that point I had not flinched at the higher than market cocktails, sparkling water and virtually everything else they charged. Oh, did I mention they charge 20 Euro if you want the jets in the Jacuzzi tub in your room to work? I was asking them to be accommodating on a service that they didn’t even offer. But they certainly asked for us to be accommodating of their frequent power outages, multiple items unavailable on their restaurant menu every day, unairconditioned shuttle from the airport, outdoor only bar and dining with swarms of mosquitos or the long wait time for food service. One bowl of pineapple took 45 minutes to be served. After this episode with the front desk, I didn’t spend another dime that I didn’t have to at the resort. Their lack of customer service/respect was very short-sighted. It's unfortunate, because the staff interacting with guests at the restaurants and housekeeping were friendly and eager to please. Instead of leaving the resort happy, and with a big bill, I left unhappy with a much smaller bill. I will never again stay at this property, and I recommend that potential visitors check out all of the other wonderful resort options available on Nosy Be.
