“Hidden gem ”
I don’t know what I was expecting but it was a hidden gem. The Hostal is within spitting distance of the Gran Via Metro which is currently shut for renovations so the easiest alternative was Calleo, just down the street. “Great location and friendly staffs”
Great location, you can walk and see most of locations in 15 minutes. But the room was quite. Friendly staffs. They were available whenever we contacted them. The room were not as clean as we expected and there were lots of ants in our room. Sometimes in the morning the water was cold.

“Expensive during peak times. €100 and normally €53. But clean and convenient.”
Security is an issue. On several occasions the front door was not closed. Also , for a hotel, when closing the room door you would expect it to be locked automatically.
