“Excellent location”
Can’t fault the hotel. Perfect location and rooms were nice. Staff friendly. Would recommend. We came here for the champions league cup final. Very lucky to get this at a really good price. Couldn’t believe our luck.

Firstly we had booked a room in a nearby hotel (El Pasaje) , but upon arrival they told us that there was a problem with our room, and gave us a room in Hostal Matheu. “Just lovely!”
We had one of our reservations moved to the lovely Hostal Matheu and were pleasantly suprised by the central location near Sol and the charm. It gives fantastic first impressions, great decor and clean rooms. Would recommend others stay in this lovely, quiet hostal.

“Three night stay”
We have never stayed in a hostel before, we found this was fine for 3 night. The rooms and bathroom were clean. We did have breakfast in our stay which was in a different place to where we were staying. Breakfast was poor, not much of choice. We could have toast or a crossant. We would not recommen… more
