We visited Madrid over the Easter break, which was an ideal time, as there were additional festivities for the Easter celebrations! The hotel was situated off a side street from the Sol Plaza, which made it ideally situated for either walking or using the Metro, to see all of the main attractions. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, friendly and professional, we would like to give a special thanks to Eduardo, Aljandro, Daniela, Andrea, Maria and Christian who plays the piano in the evenings at the piano bar - Very talented! The rooms in the hotel were clean and ideal for a weekend - We stayed in the deluxe city view room. Although the room looked on to a busy street at the rear of the hotel, the room was very quiet. There was a roof top bar with great views over the city! There was a piano bar, which had a pianist every night and a singer at the weekends accompanying Christian on the piano. Christian was more than happy for you to join in and sing! Thank you for making our evenings Christian! The bonus of the hotel is that it has its own theatre! We saw Caberet whilst we were there, neither of us speak spanish but we were so immersed in the fantastic acting and singing it didn't matter! Fantastic show!! If you are thinking about visiting Madrid it is worth booking a guided tour to the Palace, so you get express entry. Also if you want to hire a rowing boat at Retiro Park, make sure you book in advance! A visit to the 360 sky bar in the Riu is a must for fantastic views - You will need to pay 10 euros each to enter the bar though! Thank you again to all the wonderful staff! I do need to mention the breakfast team and the chef at breakfast! The staff were very attentive and very friendly! The eggs benedict was the best i have ever tasted!!

I loved my recent three day solo stay in this hotel, just minutes from the very central metro station., but located on a super cute little street. From there I explored Madrid easily on foot: Mercado San Miguel for best tapas open until midnight, great plazas, parks and museums jjust within 10 to 20 minutes walk. The hotel also houses a restaurant, a théâtre and a piano bar for easy evening entertainment just steps away from your room. The hotel is not too big, lovely, these decorated ( Universal music), super clean and has the most helpful and attentive staff. I got an upgrade on my Reserved single room. Cleaning was done daily. Little details such as: slippers, umbrella, coffe machine, tea re- supplied daily and friendly greetings from staff on both entrances, always ready to answer questions or give directions. I will for sure stay there again , because Madrid is gorgeous and worth another longer visit. My sincere Thank you to all staff at UMusic! Anna ( Kitchener, Canada)

Perfect. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more. Centre of Madrid and very attentive hospitality team who went above and beyond to cater to our needs. Rooms are clean and modern, not huge; also really loved the Bt speakers. I would come back just for that (I usually travel with mine so this is helpful)… more

Perfect. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more. Centre of Madrid and very attentive hospitality team who went above and beyond to cater to our needs. Rooms are clean and modern, not huge; also really loved the Bt speakers. I would come back just for that (I usually travel with mine so this is helpful). Concierge service was especially helpful, provided great recommendations and was even able to get last minutes to the Real Madrid game. Breakfast was also good. Will be back!

“Must stay. Close to everything!”

We had the most welcoming stay at the hotel. We stayed at the residential suite which consists of 3 rooms. It was wonderful. The hotel staff and manager are so kind and helpful. We were here for one night for the football game. And they called us cab, store our luggage etc. overall, highly recomme… more
