This is a let down and can be improved 🙁 Value: Reasonable Cleanliness: Very Good Noise Level: Good Service: Excellent. Front Desk: The front desk staff are very helpful and polite. Able to respond to our enquiries. The porters are very helpful and nice too Living Space: Breakfast is good as they have a wide spread of food from local, western and Mediterranean. The manager, Arif, is super helpful, pleasant and approachable. Always carry a smile on his face and is always ready to serve when called. I’m very happy and appreciative of his service. Kudos to Arif 👍👏 Amenities: No comment as didn’t use them

He even made sure everything was handled smoothly all the way through our taxi drop-off. His service was professional, attentive, and genuinely warm. I spent four nights here in a Club Suite/Corner Room with Club Lounge access. The positives: Large room Spotlessly clean Quiet – no street noise Great view Well appointed – although a little short of drawers and shelves Nespresso machine Excellent location across the road from Pavillion and a 10 minute walk to KLCC Welcome chocolates Daily mini bar – non-alcoholic drinks Three pieces of laundry per day Breakfast in either the Lounge or main restaurant Afternoon tea in the Lounge every day Refreshments and snacks available all day in the Lounge Evening drinks and canapes in the Lounge Excellent swimming pool for an inner-city hotel The negatives: Very uncomfortable bed – far too firm - I asked for it to be made softer but there was little difference. Shower was mouldy No milk for the coffee only nasty powdered creamer The not so great: The staff in the Club are just ok. They seem to just do their jobs and not provide much in the way of warmth. Having said that, there was one young guy who went out of his way to provide great service. He was carrying the team in that respect. He made excellent cocktails. One female staff member seemed to resent having to make drinks and she was gossiping to others about it. It’s also disappointing that not once was I offered a drink, I had to ask every time. The food in the Lounge is mediocre and I think it could do with some improvement and better handling. Each evening there were platters of dried out cheese because it wasn’t chilled. There small food items in a little fridge but I had no idea what they were - labels would have been ideal. I also asked if one of the hot dishes contained fish or seafood and was told it didn’t but when I ate it there was a lump of some kind fish or seafood in the middle. This made me unwell. On the last evening the chefs were making satays which were delicious. Again, I had to ask for these. Each evening I went it was the same, you had to ask for food, it was never offered. The only cereals offered in the morning were cornflakes and sugar stars – not really appropriate for an executive lounge. It would have been great to have some muesli or granola. Often the cut fruit also looked like it was not in great shape, again, because there didn’t appear to be any chilling. One shining light was the fact the pastries were incredible – some of the nicest I’ve ever had. The barista made coffee was also excellent. I ate breakfast in the main restaurant once and found this also to be underwhelming. It was ok and nothing more. The hosts down there were far friendlier than those in the Club. All in all I enjoyed my stay but it would have been ever better if the offerings and service in the Club were better.
